4 The Assamption Plencer, Tharsday, August 8, 2013 OBITUARIES Boudreaux Arcement, 94, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Labadieville, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013. Visitation was from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time Saturday, August 3, 2013 at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. A Mass of Christian burial was at noon Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery, She is survived by her son, Gerald Boudreaux and wife, Linda; sisters, Margaret Bourgeois and Lois T.

Himel; grandchildren, Mynette Boudreaux and Shannon P. Boudreaux; grandchildren, Brandi Boudreaux, Owen T. Boudreaux and Brandon Garrett; and one greatgreat -grandchild, Zayn Carter Boudreaux. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin Boudreaux; second husband, Noley Arcement; parents, Edgar and Henrietta Benoit Himel; brothers, Russell, Horace, and Whitney Himel; sister, Lilly Rose Gros; and one grandchild, Ryan Boudreaux. Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux was in charge of arrangements.

Zach Gray, Kaleb Gray, Himel Elijah Gray, and Ella Englert. He is preceded in death by parents, Henry M. Gros and Doris Lebouef Gros; brother, James John Gros. Kenneth J. Gros went to sleep on earth Saturday morning and woke up on Sunday morning in Heaven.

He was a gentle giant of a man who was a proud American. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam and was forever changed by that experience. He was wounded there but was not defeated. He was a true family man and dearly loved by his wife, daughters and their spouses, grandchildren, and friends.

He served his church with much love and humility. He was a Royal Ranger Commander for many years as well as serving as an usher. It was apparent Jesus lived big in him. Landry's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. TEMPLET Susan TEMPLET Susan Saragusa Schexnayder Templet passed away 0 Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at the age of 52.

She was a native of New Orleans and Gramercy and a resident of Napoleonville. Susie exhibited her sweet, kind, and nurturing traits through her many years of service as a nurse. She possessed great spiritual faith and was an inspiration to many with her joyous demeanor. She is survived by her husband of 3 years, Kent Templet; daughters: Meghann Schexnayder Roper and husband, Jeremy; and Melissa Schexnayder Roper and husband, Cody; sons: Paul Templet and Andre Templet; Mother, Beverly Saragusa; sisters: Sheila Mayabb and Mitzi Wilson; brother Jason Saragusa and wife, Sarah; Mothersin-law: Annabelle Schexnayder and Rita Templet as well as a grandson, Madyson Roper. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Saragusa, grandmother, Marion Yennie, late husband, Randy Schexnayder, and Father-in-law Randall "Pops" Schexnayder. Visitation was on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, LA followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m.

TORRES TORRES Alvin Antoine "Uncle" "Bing" Torres, a native of St. James and resident of Donaldsonville, passed away Sunday, July 28, 2013, at the age of 90.

He is survived by his sisters, Rosa Mae Torres and Rosalie Torres Vessier, both of Donaldsonville; nieces and nephews, Daniel C. Naquin Jr. of Pierre Part, Mary Kay and Richard Schmitt of Prairieville, Celia and Jeffrey Blanchard of Donaldsonville; and a great nephew, Eric D. Schmitt and his Maggie Stire, both of Denham Springs. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Eva Ourso and Rosemond J.

Torres; sister, Mercedes Torres Naquin; brothers-inlaw, Daniel C. "Red" Naquin Sr. and Morris P. "Buddy" Vessier; and his Godmother, Julia 0. Visitation was at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville, Wednesday, July 31, 2013, from 7:30 a.m.

until 10:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Paul Yi, celebrant. Entombment in the church mausoleum.

He was born July 31, 1945. Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Community Worship Center in Plattenville, LA from 6:00 p.m. until 1 10:00 p.m. Visitation resumed Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Community Worship Center at 8:30 am. Religious Services began at 10:30 a.m.

Interment followed in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Napoleonville, LA.
