Stafford. Mrs. C. S. Campbell and children are on an extended trip to Mont Belvieu, Texas.

Mrs. S. Roberts and daughter, Miss Hose, departed on Tuesday for a visit to New Iberia. Mrs. Corinne Morris, of New Orleans.

Jesse N. Roberts and Miss Belle Roberts are visiting in Morgan City. Mr. Thos. Fleming departed on Monday last for his home in Chicago.

Miss Gertrude Cowan is on a short visit to New Orleans. Miss Minnie Gorgas.of Alabama, is here on a visit to her sister, Mrs. George Palfrey. Capt. Wm.

Kyle left this week for a visit to Cincinnati and other points in Ohio. Mrs. Lillie Satterley and Miss Will Casey are spending a few days at the home of Mrs. F. Lemke.

Miss Mattie Bailey has departed for a visit to points in Mississippi. Mrs. Bessie Sanders returned horn Thursday from a visit to New Orleans. 1 Mrs. M.

Gordon Jones and little daughter was a visitor to.Baldwin on Thursday, guest of Mrs. Hobt. Barnett. Miss Abbie Marin, of New Iberia, is the guest of her brother, Mr. E.

F. Marin. Mr. Jos. Birg and Miss Helen Birg will leave Monday for their home in Mandeville, to spend the summer.

Mr. James R. Parkerson will leave to-morrow for Chicago on business, thence to a visit to Lyons, Iowa, where Mrs. Parkerson is visiting her parents. Mrs.

Chas. Pecot and children have returned home from a pleasant visit to her parents iu Bay St. Louis, Miss. I Mr. Don.

Caffery, was transacting business in New Orleans for several days this week. Mr. Oi D. Berwick, Sr, of Bayou Sale was a visitor to Franklin yesterday. Mr.

Thos. P. Wilson has resigned his position with the City Council to take effect August 1st, to accept his former position with a commission house in Rayne, La. The office made vacant by Mr. Wilson will be filled by Mr.

Clarance Aycock, at present bookkeeper in the St. Mary Bank Trust Company. Mr. Aycock's position in the bank will be filled by Mr. E.
