The people have had ample opportunity to beome with the various statutes on the r-ubjec; and the rules aod regulations of this Department.

From now on, you will be expected to have rigidly enforced all laws on tne subject matter. There will be no further tolerance of any violations, and you will promptly arrest and make charges against all those who are guilty of the non-observance of same. We particularly call your attention to the fact that no trapping is permited aiter F'ebruary and all traps mu-t be taken up by that time. However, furs that have been legally taken dating the open season may be sold, or disposed of in any manner, if properly tagged, at any time during the year.
